I just received a Christmas Flower card sent and paid for by my 84 year old mother. All i can say is DISGRACEFUL. I opened a card containing a tiny arrangement of dead flowers. Even if the flowers had still been alive, the card would havbe been a ripoff. I looked on the flowercard website and what I received bore little resemblance to the realitty and all for £18.95 with postage and packaging of £4.95.

I telephoned Flowercard immediately and to be fair, they will refund the cost to my Mother. However, I now have the problem of explaining to her that the "bouquet" card she thought she had sent infact contained perhaps 50p worth of flowers and when it arrived they were all dead anyway. Great start to her arrival on Christmas Eve! She and I will both be left embarassed and upset. I can't even telephone her to thank her today. What do I say? Thank you for the dead flowers I'll see you on Christmas Eve! What a mess!
