Do not book anything with www.experiencemad.co.uk!! I booked a 30 minute Helicopter tour over the Lake District which had a great description of where it would go. This was a gift for my partner's 40th Birthday and he would get to see all his favourite parts of the Lake District. Unfortunately all he got was a tour over Lake Windermere! We never go to the South Lakes so he was really disappointed that he didn't get to see what I'd paid for. I contacted customer service and after various emails going backwards and forwards I was told that "you are notified that the route can be changed". Fine, I totally understand that but wouldn't it be great if they informed you beforehand! There was no contact from them to say the route had changed. What should have been a special birthday turned into a disappointment especially as we drove up to the Lakes especially for this helicopter tour.
